James Osborne is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner. His responsibilities include client portfolio reviews, financial plan preparation and various investment recommendations. Additionally, he is responsible for the oversight of the due diligence for clients’ mutual fund holdings as part of the firm’s monthly Investment Committee meetings.
James spent three years with other financial services firms before joining M. J. Smith and Associates in June 2007. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Colorado Christian University and his Master of Business Administration in investment management from the University of Colorado. James is a member of the Colorado chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
James lives in Centennial with his wife, Hillary, daughter Ellsley and their two dogs. He is an avid cyclist and enjoys camping in his free time.
