At the beginning of 2019, we announced a series of women’s events, designed to provide social interaction, education and a chance to give back to the community. We’ve held two of the four events and have really enjoyed the opportunities to meet women who are passionate about their careers, relationships and making a difference.
The first event was our International Women’s Day Donation Drive & Happy Hour to benefit the Denver Rescue Mission which is committed to helping people who are experiencing homelessness and addiction. Our goal was to collect 500 hygiene products for donation. We ended up collecting more than 800 items and were also able to contribute $350 to Denver Rescue Mission. Thank you to everyone who participated!
At our second event, more than 20 clients and guests joined us for our Investing with a Purpose Lunch & Learn led by two amazing portfolio managers. We were able to learn about sustainable investing and ask questions of Katherine Collins, head of Sustainable Investing and portfolio manager for Putnam’s sustainable investing strategy, as well as Hunter Lovins, Chief of Impact at Change Finance and the founder of Natural Capital Solutions.
We have two more events scheduled for 2019 and would love to have you join us.
Tuesday, Aug. 20, 6pm
When we meet with our clients to discuss their retirement goals, travel is always at the top of the list. Join us for a night of networking and travel dreaming. Sarah Key from The Keys to Travel will be sharing the importance of vision boards, specifically relating to travel. There is no destination too far, too remote, or too luxurious for this evening! This event is about dreaming big with your vacation goals and motivating you to make them a reality.
Sarah will be providing plenty of magazines and supplies for you to use to create your Travel Vision Board, but if you have a very specific destination or image in mind, please print it and bring it to the event!
As a travel agent, Sarah provides a unique travel experience for her clients through her insider knowledge, connections to lodging and tour guides, and personal experiences. You can follow her travels on Instagram @TheKeysToTravel and on her blog, www.thekeystotravel.com.
We will be serving wine and snacks during evening. Guests can schedule a complimentary 30-minute retirement projection meeting with one of our advisors after the event to see if they are on track.
November (date and time TBD)
You spend so much time building your wealth, make sure you are able to enjoy it! Corey Feldman from Trivida Functional Medicine Center will be providing us with tips and ideas to help us build our health portfolio because what good is your wealth if you don’t have your health?
It’s no secret that one of the largest expenses during retirement is healthcare. We currently plan for supplemental insurance, long-term care plans, life insurance, and other expenses for our “golden years.” What if we also spent our time building our health portfolio – being proactive, learning how to predict the future of our health, investing in an education for our bodies – so we understand exactly what we need to stay on a healthy journey? Could we use all that wealth for the dreams we have for retirement? Corey will offer some new technologies and techniques that will allow you to look deeper into your health, help you understand how to identify the right plan for your body, and how you can become the champion of your goals so you can enjoy your wealth!
Trivida didn’t begin in a gym. The light bulb went off in the locker room of a football stadium and the passion grew in a hospital. Founder Corey Feldman was an athletic trainer and Physician Assistant first. Rehabilitation, western medicine, and emergency care— he learned these skills because he believed in customized, collaborative healthcare. Inspired, Corey completed a Masters in Medical Science and became a Physician Assistant. But he ran into a problem. As a provider, he only had a few minutes to listen to his patients, diagnose, and treat. He struggled to make an impact that could change their lives. So, in 2013, Corey created Trivida to integrate fitness, nutrition, and functional medicine.
We’d love to see you at one or both of these very special events. To RSVP, contact Jennifer Searle at Jennifer.firstname.lastname@example.org or 303.768.0007 x312.
