The Team "Strayed" Away to Volunteer With International Hearing Dog

July 24, 2019

The M.J. Smith team “strayed” away from the office on June 20th to spend the day volunteering with the staff and dogs at International Hearing Dog, Inc. This amazing organization rescues shelter dogs to assist persons who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, with and without multiple disabilities, at no cost to the recipient.

Because so many M.J. Smith employees are dog lovers, it was easy to plan a service day benefiting our furry friends and the International Hearing Dog team. We were able to exercise the dogs as well as help the staff by filling Kongs with peanut butter, stuffing bags with shirts and give-aways for their 8th Annual Walk, Run & Wag. It was a hot day and the big dogs enjoyed some time outside in a baby pool. We hope our day of service will become an annual tradition!
